The Last Temptation of Christ. Disappointing findings

Published: 2010-01-07

Looked "The Last Temptation of Christ" by Martin Scorsese. With "small" delay, on the whole world, who saw the film back in 1997, but the fresher look, I think so.

The first and rather hooligan's idea: the Church would have to canonize the filmmakers, but it has subjected them anathema. It was curious to type in a search for "The reaction of the church on the Last Temptation of Christ" and read reviews so church fathers propaganda, compared to which the Kremlin propagandists seem to be just children!

Rehearsal of Doomsday

Looked 2012 Doomsday. I’m interesting this subject. I like all global, but Doomsday is the most global event which may be, isn’t it? So I must look this film, you see.

Two word about why I’m interesting this. All our life is a theatre and we all are actors. It was knows as long ago as Shekespir time. We play different roles: great and trifling, often – ordinary, trite everyday sketches which makes up our life. All roles notorious, characters predictable, plotlines banal. Boringly. Sadly. Not interesting. Much better prove to be at the planetary performance where pull down absolutely all and probably be born another world – unknown, awesome, but magnetic toward itself like precipice make us go. And how much it questions! Questions without answers, but its so interesting.

2012

However, the film. It was rather pleased, then vice versa. Fantastic trick effects merits higher praise. Theme of “all humane in us” is the mane subject and it uses with good effect. In all other respects this film is typical example of Hollywood product: fairy luck of main heroes, flying limousines and even campers and all actions in last second. It's worth seeing! But do you see the same in reality? I’m afraid even Doomsday can’t give that possibilities.
